What Do You need to Know About Us?

Rick Weinert has over 40 years in leadership and ministry nationally and internationally, and an earned Doctorate in Missional/Pastoral Leadership. He has served as a pastor, teacher, training center director, district superintendent,  coach, and consultant.

Why 4E? We believe that there are four essential elements to leading healthy, effective change. First is the emotional/relational/spiritual health of the leader. Too often the lack of emotional health on the part of the leader undermines his/her ability to effectively lead change. Second is challenging and changing mental models. Healthy, effective change starts with changing how we think. The effective leader does not focus primarily on changing behavior, but on helping others see and think differently. Third is relational decision making. People resent being used and manipulated. When they have a voice and are listened to they are more open to change. Fourth is clarity of direction. Leaders do not need to know exactly what things will look like in two, five, or ten years, but they do need to be clear on the direction in which they need to move. Change for the sake of change is never healthy or effective. These four elements are foundational in leading healthy, effective change.
